Honors for Maserati, Liberty and Mercurius, clear rounds for Chapeau and Orion
At the start of the new season we like to look back at the past months of the indoor season. Our rider Edward van den Bragt regularly showed the potential of our young horses, who gained a lot of valuable experience. With Liberty S (by Sterrehof’s Great Blue) we could not only note a recent victory, but also a 2nd, 3rd and 5th place in the 1.20m class. Maserati (by Eldorado van de Zeshoek) did almost match this with nice 2nd, 5th and 6th places in the 1.30m. The also 7yo Mercurius S (picture, by Diamant de Semilly), who is at the Houtzager Stables for some time now, also achieved a second place in the 1.30 and made a successful debut at 1.35m.
Fine clear rounds
The youngest crop also lived up to expectations. No high rankings but necessary good experiences including several fine clear rounds in the 1.10 class could be noted for 5yo Orion S (by Cornet du Lys) and Chapeau S Z (by Sterrehof’s Cayetano Z) .
An impression of Orion, Chapeau, Maserati and Liberty (in that order) can be seen in the video below.
