Beautiful fifth place for Edinus and Marc during celebrating Jumping Amsterdam
Jumping Amsterdam celebrated its 60th anniversary this year. This so-called Diamond Edition welcomed the return of a FEI World Cup event. After their marvelous second place in the Basel World Cup, Marc also wanted to shine in this World Cup qualifier of the Western European League with Sterrehof’s Calimero. Under the watchful eye of King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands they succeeded in doing so, till a rail ruthlessly fell at obstacle number 10. They finished fifteenth and grabbed two World Cup points as consolation prize.
Sterrehof’s Cayetano Z could not score any points with Julia. They performed impressively on Friday night by finishing with just one time penalty in the 1.50m RAI Amsterdam Prize.
Great result
Like previous years, we supported the Grand Prix also during this edition, together with Anemone Horse Trucks. After the victory of Calimero and Marc in 2018, this prestigious class also delivered us a great result this time. Sterrehof’s Edinus jumped early in the Grand Prix towards a convincing clear round and was able to repeat this result with Marc in the jump off. They only lacked a bit of speed in the finale and finished fifth. Winner of the Anemone Horse Trucks Grand Prix of Amsterdam powered by Stoeterij Sterrehof became the Frenchman Simon Delestre with Hermes Ryan after a blistering jump-off.
