Marc and Dante score a nice third place with Dutch team at the CSIO5* of Rome
For the first time since the Tokyo Olympics, Sterrehof’s Dante N.O.P. and Marc jumped again in the colours of the Dutch national team. They did so at the appealing venue of the Piazza di Siena, where the CSIO5* Nations Cup of Rome was scheduled. In the first round, our duo had a good result, with a single rail down. The second round was even better. Being the team’s last combination, Marc and Dante jumped to a brilliant clear and made a third place for the Netherlands possible. Debuting national trainer Jos Lansink was happy with the result, and also saw Willem Greve ride to a double clear with Grandorado TN.
Other results
On Sunday Marc and Dante competed at the prestigious Grand Prix of Rome. Unfortunately, a single jumping fault prevented a top result. Marc also came into action with Sterrehof’s Calimero. Our fifteen-year-old top gelding, had a comeback at CSI5* level and jumped a nice clear round in a 1.45m class.
