Sterrehof's Calimero makes a comeback with Marc in a 1.60m Grand Prix
The CSIO5* in Knokke brought some good results and positive leads. For the third time this outdoor season, Sterrehof’s Dante N.O.P. and Marc represented the Netherlands in a 5* Nations Cup. After Rome and Sankt Gallen they could fight again for the top places together with the Dutch team. A first round with 4 penalty points, was followed by a beautiful clear round in the second one. The Netherlands finished on 8, and this final score made four countries join first place in the Belgian coastal city. A jump-off was necessary and unfortunately Dante and Marc had two jumping faults during in this apotheosis, which made the Dutch finish fourth behind the winning French.
Sterrehof’s Calimero
After finishing 9th earlier in the week in the 1.50m evening class with jump-off, Sterrehof’s Calimero competed on Sunday in the other main class of this highly rated competition. Although they finished in the midfield with two faults, the fact that Calimero made his comeback with Marc in a difficult 1.60m Grand Prix class was certainly a positive thing at the end of this wonderful event.
