Cayetano and Julia finish tenth in the main class
The always atmospheric Amadeus Indoors Horse show in Salzburg brought us several nice results this year, although there were also a few setbacks. These mixed emotions were particularly present at the Grand Prix. In her own country Julia rode an excellent first round with Sterrehof’s Cayetano Z which was rewarded with a clear. Unfortunately, there was no such follow-up in the jump-off, so our top duo finished on a still neat tenth place. Sterrehof’s Calimero and Marc were on a roll a day earlier in the 1.55m with a jump-off. In this second most important class of the Austrian CSI4* show, a flawless first round and a well ridden jump-off with one jumping fault delivered our pair an eighth place.
Comeback Edinus
Finally, the comeback of Sterrehof’s Edinus in the international jumping arena was particularly beautiful. After a few months without competition Edinus left a good impression again. He opened the show with only time faults in a 1.45m class and finished on Friday with five penalty points in a 1.50m against the clock. In the same class Cayetano Z was clear with Julia and just missed one of the prizes.
