Memorable moments
Sterrehof’s Cayetano Z made his international debut as an 8yo. The very sound stallion jumped eight consecutive years at international level with his rider Julia Houtzager-Kayser. The duo competed at the 2017 European Championship in Gothenburg and was, also for Austria, in 2016 and 2018 very successful at the FEI Nations Cup final in Barcelona. Cayetano and Julia achieved top positions in many Grands Prix at the highest level.
In 2020 Cayetano retired from the sport and started his second career as breeding stallion. At the end of 2023, the grandson of the legendary Ratina Z unexpectedly passed away. Now we expect to see his offspring enter the international arena in a couple of years and honour this great Sterrehof stallion.
