Calimero and Marc placed sixth in GCT Paris Grand Prix
During the Paris Global Champions Tour, Sterrehof’s Calimero and Marc had an excellent follow-up of their good performances at CHIO Twente. In a special entourage, nearby the world-famous Eifel tower, our duo realised the first of in total seven clears in the Grand Prix’s delicate first round. Unfortunately, a rail fell already soon in the decisive jump-off, but their sixth place at the end was the best seasonal result so far after four GCT stages. In addition, Calimero showed a steady performance in this prestigious show, as he had finished fifth in 2018.
Sterrehof’s Edinus strong in GCL
Like last year, our horses performed also strongly during the Global Champions League team competition. Together with Niels Bruynseels (Delux from T&L) Marc achieved this time top results for the Prague Lions with both Sterrehof’s Edinus (picture below) and Calimero. After Edinus stayed clear in the first round on Friday, Calimero followed with a single time penalty in the second round on Saturday. A total of five penalty points brought the Prague Lions to fourth place. Marc’s team is now tenth in the rankings, after good results in the last stages .
