Comeback crowned with beautiful eighth place in Grand Prix
In the beginning of this year Sterrehof’s Calimero made his comeback in international sport. Marc managed him well to bring him back to his old form and today he saw all the hard work rewarded with a nice result in the Grand Prix of La Baule. A total of fifty combinations started in this class, a classic in show jumping. Only eight of them managed to finish the difficult first round without one or more jumping faults, including Marc and Calimero. Although they were outside the time allowed, the positive feeling of Calimero performing again at the very highest level dominates.
Dante in the Dutch team
In the FEI Nations Cup, Sterrehof’s Dante N.O.P. made her debut in the Dutch team. She jumped well but finished on a 4/4 result. With a squad that was collectively a little bit off game it meant a 7th place at the end. Sterrehof’s Edinus, our third Grand Prix horse, was also present in the French coastal city. He had his best result in the 1.45m class on Friday and just missed the prize giving ceremony.
