A special period comes to an end after more than fifteen years
After leading Sterrehof Stud for more than fifteen years to various successes in the sport, the time has come for Ivo and Ellen Campagne to sell their horse business. The stud farm and sport stable in Nunspeet, located near the Veluwemeer, is for sale and will thus change hands.
Quality and welfare
Sterrehof is one of the eye-catchers among the equestrian stables in the Netherlands and is a place where all aspects of (top) sport and breeding come together, everything built with an eye for quality and welfare.
Sterrehof Stud includes an indoor arena (with a ‘hanging’ foyer), two spacious outdoor training arenas, a galloping track, couloir for free jumping, covered lunging ring (all with ‘Agterberg footing’), a spacious stable complex (24 individual boxes and 4 boxes for group housing), a company residence, covered horse walker, various sand and pasture paddocks and 14 hectares of grassland (all with wooden fences). All information and pictures of the whole property can be found on the website of Drieklomp Real Estate company.
Not a farewell to the sport
Although Ivo and Ellen are clearly taking step back with the upcoming sale, it will not mean a farewell to the equestrian sport and the support of Stal Houtzager-Kayser. They will continue to support Dutch show jumping sport, which in the past has already brought successes by the Sterrehof horses at the Olympics and participations at various World and European Championships.
