Sterrehof horses warm up under the Spanish sun

While winter conditions predominated in the Netherlands recent days, our international horses stayed in the early Spanish spring sunshine. Various classes in the first week of the Sunshine Tour were jumped at a pleasant afternoon temperature of 18 degrees. Sterrehof’s Edinus (photo), Sterrehof’s Dante N.O.P., Sterrehof’s Calimero and Claire came into action. All horses jumped well and warmed up for the rest of the season.

Promising start

Our young mare Claire (by Centadel) kept a clean sheet three times in a row in 1.30m classes and also Calimero, who is back in the ring, performed well in the south of Spain. Dante and Edinus returned in a couple of prize giving ceremonies. Edinus clinched seventh place in a 1.45m two phase special, finished twelfth in a 1.50m against the clock and Dante realised a ninth place in a 1.50m class with a jump-off. All in all, a promising start that will be continued.
