Stoeterij Sterrehof contributes to a successful edition of the Outdoor Gelderland horse show
Two years in a row we had to miss Outdoor Gelderland because of the corona crisis. But now in 2022 the international horse event is fully back on track, with a new competition venue at the Equestrian Center Lichtenvoorde but also familiar as we know it including support from our stable.
Stoeterij Sterrehof Trophy
This was first and foremost reflected in the finals of the Stoeterij Sterrehof Outdoor Gelderland Trophy for national combinations. These jumping classes were spread over three days. On Wednesday Nienke van Roekel and her five-year-old Marie Antoinette Ws won the 1.10m class. Two days later Pietrix de Vries could be crowned as winner of the 1.20m with his eleven-year-old Diamanthina. On Saturday the 1.30m class was scheduled and this last final came into the hands of Isabella Appelboom and her twelve-year-old Chayan Z the orange ribbon.
Stoeterij Sterrehof Prize
Another highlight for us, but also for the international riders of the CSI3* tour, was the Sterrehof Stud Prize. This main class on Friday was won by Remco Been and Bridgetown Z. His fast, clear jump-off in this 1.50m proved to be enough to hold off Julia Houtzager-Kayser, riding High Five.
