Orion S jumped several national shows in 2023 up to 1.00m level and this looks very promising. In both the sire and dam line of Orion we see a rare accumulation of Grand Prix genes. Sire is the Olympic stallion Cornet du Lys, who himself has the Grand Prix horses Cornet Obolensky and Chablis du Lys as his sire and dam. Orion’s dam Sterrehof’s Ushi used to be successful at Grand Prix level with Julia Houtzager-Kayser. Ushi is by former world champion Vigo d’Arsouilles and has the famous Narcotique de Muze II and Qerly Chin (both 1.60m level) as her granddam and great-granddam.
