Sterrehof’s Edinus 5th in Grand Prix and Sterrehof’s Dante 2nd in Championat
Just like last year, the CSI5* in Treffen has turned into a particularly successful show for our horses. On Saturday, Marc entered the ring as the 2018 winner of the Gaston Glock’s Championat. A few hours later he was just a couple of tenths of a second away from prolonging his victory in this highly regarded 1.55m class. This time Sterrehof’s Dante (picture below) brought him to a beautiful second place after two difficult rounds in which a double clear was realised. That performance was only copied by the winner, the American Margie Goldstein with Dicas. For Dante it was already her sixth top-3 classification this year, which still is only halfway!
Edinus shows great form in Grand Prix
Sterrehof’s Edinus triumphed in the 2018 Championat, but this year he was Marc’s choice in the Grand Prix. On Friday, Edinyus already demonstrated to be in the right form, as he joined the 1.50m class’s prize winners. Two days later he even shifted to a higher gear. Only seven combinations qualified for the jump-off of the 1.60m main class at the appealing Austrian Glock’s Horse Performance Center. Our duo was among them. They were able to realise another flawless clear and ended up fantastically fifth!
