Seven four-year-olds added to horses in training
The youngest generation of Sterrehof horses currently performing in sport is as of now present on our website in the overview of the horses in training. After previous selections on health, free jumping and talent under the saddle, our collection of four-year-olds consists of seven horses. These three mares and four geldings are all genetically very interesting, have the right aptitude and have successfully jumped their first courses in competition with our rider Edward van den Bragt.
Brief introduction
Below we briefly introduce the seven horses. For further information and pictures please click on the name of the concerning horse:
Joint (Sterrehof’s Opium x Numero Uno)
This appealing and well-developed mare already impressed us when tested at free jumping and now shows her talent under the saddle. With all of this Joint is stepping in the hoof prints of her full brother.
Julia (Marius Claudius x Quick Star)
The young Julia is developing prosperously. This mare has both from sire’s and dam’s side a remarkable amount of topsport genes and is now jumping at 1.10m level.
Julisimo (Sterrehof’s Opium x Quick Star)
Julisimo is a ‘sharp’ mare who has done her first experiences in jumping courses. We give her time to learn and absorb and already have had good experiences with her full sister.
Joop Junior (Sterrehof’s Opium x Corland)
Joop Junior is very easy to ride. This friendly horse has jumped several courses and is showing good progress. Because of his height we also give him time to mature.
Jacobus-S (Numero Uno x Toulon)
Jacobus-S is a well-developed gelding. He has jumped several shows already and is making good progress. His talent is genetically easy to explain and we will train him further up to 1.10m level.
Jerom-S (I’m Special de Muze x Lord Z)
This gelding shows exclusive qualities under the saddle. He has a lot of suppleness and a very good mind. Jerom already performed at 1.10m level.
Joel-S (Don Diablo x Quite Easy, photo)
Joel-S is an appealing brown gelding with special markings. Joel has done several shows now and is developing well.
