Madesca is schooled at Sterrehof Stud and jumps at 1.20m level
Sterrehof Stud regularly offers horses from its own training program for sale, like Madesca. The five-year-old mare currently jumps at 1.20m level. This long-lined and well developed talent shows the right trainability and willingness to jump and therefore has future potential.
Berlin x Numero Uno
Madesca is bred out of the fantastic combination Berlin x Numero Uno. Berlin, who was part of the golden Dutch World Championship team in 2006, is one of today’s top progenitors, with many offspring that shine at the highest level.
Madesca’s dam Desca makes her pedigree only more interesting. Desca is by Numero Uno and is a KWPN elite mare who scored a massive 81 points at her mare performance test. She also produced Ivo-C and Joint (both by Opium) and Helioon (by Jaguar Mail) who were selected by us and trained at Sterrehof Stud in the past. The only 8-year-old Joint jumps now at international 1.45m level and has already won several FEI young horses classes with German Alexander Müller. Helioon (sport name Lord Fauntleroy K) is also successful in international sport and competes in eventing at CIC2* level.
Finally, Desca is the aunt of seven international show jumpers, including Audi’s Wizard (1.60m), Fresca (1.55m) and Gisca (1.50m).
