Talented Sterrehof horses show their potential at the CSI Salland
A good way to start the international indoor season by one of our coming stars! Seven year old Sterrehof’s Felisimo, a daughter of Sterrehof’s Opium, succeeded in winning the Stal De Sjiem Prix together with Michael Greeve at the CSI Salland. This class for seven year old horses developed into an exciting battle in the jump-off where Felisimo and her rider were able to claim victory by hundredths of a second. So it was Michael who received the compliments afterwards from reigning world champion and sponsor of this class Jeroen Dubbeldam.
Other of our still young horses displayed their qualities in the main competition of the Big Tour. Eight year old Sterrehof’s Eddie Blue (s. Mr. Blue) finished together with Roy Weel at a neat ninth place in the Grand Prix. Nine year old Sterrehof’s Dante (s. Canturano) had also one rail down in this difficult class and closed the lap of honour with Julia Houtzager-Kayser on 12th spot.
