Sterrehof's Dante and Marc peak in main class Horses & Dreams show
Sterrehof’s Dante and Marc achieved a top result in the Grand Prix of Hagen. Our now sixteen-year-old mare jumps a selective number of shows and that paid off once again with a wonderful second place at the renowned Horses & Dreams competition at Hof Kasselmann.
Another big result
Our duo, who still know how to peak at the right moments, impressed in the first round with a flawless clear. Only seven other combinations out of 49 in this Grand Prix were able to match this result. In this form and with all the experience of this pair, it was hoping for a nice continuation in the jump-off. Dante and Marc lived up to this expectation and finished after a convincing fast clear round between German top riders Carsten-Otto Nagel and Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmerman. After winning the Grand Prix in Wiesbaden and Salzburg, the second place meant another big result in a main class for Dante within a year’s time.
17yo Sterrehof’s Calimero
While the Dutch Championships took place in Deurne, Marc represented our national colours in Hagen with our horses. He did so not only with his 2020 Dutch champion horse, but also with the one from 2017. The already seventeen-year-old Sterrehof’s Calimero also proved in Hagen not to have lost his touch and jumped on Friday a great clear round in the first qualifier for the Grand Prix.
