Colt by Cayetano selected for KWPN Performance Test

The three-year-old stallion On My Mind got selected for the performance test at the KWPN Stallion Show. This great result means immediate success for the very first crop of our Grand Prix stallion Sterrehof’s Cayetano Z (photo). On My Mind was bred by international rider Willem Greve out of the 1.60m dam Dolores MB (by Thunder van de Zuuthoeve).

The big stallion has an impressive canter and showed a lot of power and scope during his free jumping performance. Cor Loeffen, chairman of the stallion selection committee, commented with enthusiasm and said: “This colt by Cayetano jumps with good technique and a lot of reflexes. He is clearly well-developed, but still shows an overview and carefulness that we want to see in a show jumper.”

Exclusive first crop

Cayetano’s first crop contains only six offspring. Besides mentioned On My Mind, five of these three-year-old talents are born and present at Sterrehof Stud (2019 batch on this page).

The first years we have used our top stallion, who has the famous Ratina Z as his granddam, to a limited extent in breeding.
