5 Cayetano foals to be auctioned *update*

Several offspring of our top stallion Sterrehof’s Cayetano Z have been selected for two foal auctions in September. Eye-catcher Special Envoy has been selected for the Limburgse Veulenveiling. This stallion prospect’s granddam Charleen jumped at 1.60m level and participated at the European Championships in Donaueschingen.

At the Paardenveilingonline.com auction no less than three Cayetano foals come under the digital auction hammer. First of all, the filly Santa Monica. She is out of the Numero Uno daughter Desca. We are very familiar with her foals as we have or have had offspring of Desca at our stud farm. Among them is Santa Monica’s half-brother Joint. This eight-year-old has been trained at Sterrehof Stud jumps now at 1.45m level en already has won several international classes.

The other filly is the also KWPN-registered Stella. She’s bred out of the elite mare Damar (by Lord Z) and comes from the direct family of the 1.50/1.60m level horses Sam-Sam (by Indorado), Dudley (by Voltaire) and Easy Boy 23 (by Canturano) as well as the KWPN stallion Niagara (by Libero H).

Full brothers at two auctions

Then we come to the Cayetano colts Cold as Snow Z and Corneille Z. These two full brothers are bred out of the dam My Diamond Lady JH Z, who is by Mylord Carthago. Granddam Dirwies is a half-sister to six international horses, and descends from the well-known Holsteiner dam line 1342, from which Grand Prix stallions like Bubalu VDL and Verdi TN also originate. Special is that Cold as Snow Z will be auctioned on Paardenveilingonline.com, while Corneille Z (photo above, video below) will be auctioned during the prestigious Foal Auction Prinsjesdag on Tuesday 20 September.
