Comeback Calimero and third place for Edinus at CSI Opglabbeek
After a three-month corona break, Marc returned to competition with the Sterrehof horses at an international competition. The place to be was the CSI2* Opglabbeek in Belgium. It was particularly nice to see that not only Sterrehof’s Dante N.O.P. and Sterrehof’s Edinus (photo) were present at the Sentower Park accommodation, but that also Sterrehof’s Calimero made his comeback at the international stage.
Competition rhythm
Marc used the two-star event mainly to give the horses some necessary competition rhythm again. The rider who turned fifty last week succeeded in that task and achieved several fine results with Dante and Calimero at 1.30m to 1.45m level. The same could be said for Edinus, who also managed to win a prize in the 1.45m class with a jump-off. In this competition a total of 60 combinations started and after a strongly ridden jump-off Marc saw himself and Edinus back on third place.
The coming months there are -of course with reservation- shows at four and five star level planned for Marc and our horses.
