First jumps for the 2014 draft
Six months ago we have broken in our three year old horses. A news item about this and our working method appeared earlier on this website. After their first acquaintance with the saddle and all other experiences these youngsters roamed the pastures again during the Summer period. As Winter is coming we have brought them back to the stables and also back under the saddle.
Teamwork
From all these promising horses we have already gathered information during their lose jumping sessions and we know how they behaved when they were broken in. In accordance with our philosophy they will now be schooled at a calm way towards their first course experience in 2018.
Also this phase of the education will be teamwork from our stable rider Edward van den Bragt and Patricia Hop. The horses are now approximately two weeks back under the saddle and Patricia is doing all the ground work -consisting of mainly lunging- and Edward rides them three times a week.
