Marc and Sterrehof's Dante finish third in Grand Prix MET
Just a month after their memorable win at Jumping Amsterdam, a great result for Marc and Sterrehof’s Dante followed in the Grand Prix of the second week Mediterranean Equestrian Tour (MET) in Oliva, Spain. The 17-year-old mare jumped a very convincing clear in the first round, easy within the time aloud. Only three other combinations realised the same result and came back for the jump-off.
Super finish
In this final round, Marc seriously attacked the leading time, but regretfully Dante jumped one rail down and third place turned out to be the highest achievable. It was a great result and super finish of the first week she was back in action since Amsterdam and after taking the first week off under the Spanish sun!
Other horses
Our other horses also scored some fine results in this second week. The only nine-year-old Loeca N.D. jumped a great round in the Grand Prix qualifier on Friday and just missed a ribbon in the 1.45m Gold final on Saturday after two time faults. The eight-year-old Mereusa competed in the Silver Tour, posting a nice clear round and a single fault in the Grand Prix.
