Sterrehof's Dante N.O.P. adds traditional German Grand Prix to her honour roll
Sterrehof’s Dante N.O.P. and Marc have won the Grand Prix of Wiesbaden in style! An impressively ridden jump-off proved to be the key to success, after which the Dutch national anthem resounded in the beautiful surroundings of the Bieberich Palace.
A great form
Already in the opening class of this traditional German show our top duo showed a great form by convincingly jumping clear. They continued this in the Grand Prix on Whit Monday with a beautiful clear in the first round as a result. Ten other combinations copied this and came also back for the apotheosis on the large grass arena.
Breath-taking round
Dante and Marc started third in the jump-off. Their ride had everything you could wish for and after their breath-taking round Marc and our 15-year-old mare stopped the clock at just 38.97 seconds. It was obvious that this performance wasn’t easy to beat although it became really nail-biting for us during Hans-Dieter Dreher’s ride, who, however, fell 0.04 seconds short. The victory was no longer in danger and became one that will be added in capitals to Dante’s already impressive track record!
