Filly by Comme Il Faut and Sterrehof's Ushi provides desired start of breeding season
Last week we had an ideal start to our breeding season as we could welcome an appealing and athletic filly by Comme Il Faut out of Sterrehof’s Ushi (photo above). With this foal the embryo transfer technique has been used, and she and her foster mare are doing well.
One of the best dam lines
Dam Ushi, who is by Vigo d’Arsouilles, jumped successfully at 1.60m GP level and is from the direct Narcotique de Muze II/Qerly Chin line, one of the best dam lines in the world. Sire Comme Il Faut, of course, had a great career and, as a son of Cornet Obolensky and Ratina Z, is also a high flyer from a genetic point of view.

The combined genes of Ushi and the legendary Ratina Z are already present at Sterrehof Stud with Chapeau S Z and Cerly S Z, both offspring of our top stallion Sterrehof’s Cayetano Z. This season we expect even more foals from Ushi, also by a direct and famous son of Cornet Obolensky. A start like this for sure tastes like more!
