Sterrehof’s Cayetano Z brings provincial champion, selected for nationals
Sterrehof’s Cayetano Z left his mark on the foal championship of the KWPN region Zeeland. His striking son Seigneur de Fleur B impressively won the provincial title and deserved a ticket for the national championships in Ermelo. According to KWPN.nl (in Dutch), judge Henk Derksen was enthusiastic about the conformation and movements of the colt by Cayetano. He said among others: “This foal is well developed and has an easy way of moving with good balance. He is light-footed and changes easily in canter.”
Enthusiastic about Cayetano
Louis Reijnierse and Mirjam Vreeke – Reijnierse are breeders and owners of the brand new champion. Their dam Fleur d’Usance (by Arko III) produced Seigneur de Fleur B, who is a half-sister to four international jumpers, including Art d’Usance (1.60m) and Gypsy d’Usance (1.50m). ). On KWPN.nl, Louis Reijnierse explains why Cayetano was used by them: “Last year we chose Cayetano because we are very charmed by the blood of Ratina Z. We have seen a handful of yearlings and two-year-olds of him and were clearly enthusiastic.”
